  • This is Yoga Asana meets Movement Science. Classes begin with a check-in because practice is tailored to the needs of the small group. Expect releasing work at the beginning to calibrate your nervous system and maximize potential for transformation. Followed by nitty-gritty, sneaky-strength-building to create new neuropathways. Finally, there is a breathing-based, grace-filled flow. You’ll finish practice with a deep sense of satisfaction.

  • Asana Strong feels like the yoga you love and builds the strength that you need.

    You’ll want yoga blocks, yoga strap, fabric and rubber resistance bands, a myofascial release ball, and hand weights.

  • Friday, 11:30am

  • This practice blends alignment and integration with vinyasa flow. There is conscious movement with un-hurried breathing. You’ll learn in layers and awaken the intelligence of your body. Come curious!

November 9, A Daylong Retreat @ Padma Yoga in Fairfax

Your practice is meant to evolve. To support you in different ages and life stages. This daylong retreat will seamlessly weave strength and movement science into your yoga practice.

You’ll work hard and smart. You’ll do functional movement balanced by nervous system soothing. You’ll develop strong, calm, and control on your mat for off your mat.
