Awesome practice opportunities are on the horizon! Each of these events has a unique combination of yoga asana and movement science. You'll make discoveries about your body and practice moving, breathing, and healing.


Functional Breathing for Yogis
this Friday, 7/25, 4:30-7pm
at Tula Movement Arts in Bend.

Learn the biomechanics of breathing from Doctor of Physical Therapy and founder of Academy West, Andy Sabatier. Then put it into your yoga practice with Alison.

Expect an hour of lecture and anatomy. An hour of breathing-based practice (appropriate for all levels of yoga experience). Followed by 30 minutes of Q&A.

The Introvert's Retreat
Resilience: Yoga, Fascia, and Strength

at Tula Movement Arts in Bend

A retreat for introverts! Enjoy the weekend workshop with the group and quiet time with your own lodging and meals.

During the weekend, you’ll discover deep whole-body power through your connective tissue. You’ll explore fascia, how it applies to yoga, and why it’s key for building sustainable strength.


Evolved Practice: Yoga Asana meets Movement Science
A daylong retreat at Padma in Marin
November 8 or 9 (registration coming soon!)

Your practice is meant to evolve. To support you in different ages and life stages. This daylong retreat will seamlessly weave strength and movement science into your yoga practice.

You’ll work hard and smart. You’ll do functional movement balanced by nervous system soothing. You’ll develop strong, calm, control on your mat for off your mat.
