Bruised Ego or Tortured Soul?

I had to move the Padma daylong retreat to January.

And despite an abundance of signs that it was the right thing to do — it still bruised my ego.

I won’t lie… I was tempted to push through!
But over the years, I’ve learned: when I listen early, it’s just a bruised ego. When I ignore the signs, I become a tortured soul.

I learned this through my body.
When something feels off — a pose that doesn’t resonate anymore, fatigue that goes deeper than muscles, an itch for something different — those are whispers.

If you ignore them, they get louder.
Until they get your attention with pain, injury, or disconnection.

If you listen early — even when it means letting go of what you think you want — beautiful things happen.
You heal.
You evolve.
You emerge fresh and new.

And yes, you heal physical stuff — but deeper layers too: the striving, the pushing, the never-enough.

That's what this week's podcast is all about:
👉 Why Yoga Starts to Hurt (and How to Make It Heal Again)

You’ll learn why practice shifts for women after 35, how to adapt to midlife changes, and how to make your yoga healing — not just something you do.
