Are you breathing backwards?
“What has to be taught first, is the breath.”
— Confucious
For years, I couldn’t figure it out.
No matter how much I focused on alignment, core work, or PT — my SI joint would go out again and again.
The real cause? Inverted breathing.
When you inhale and your belly pulls in (instead of letting your ribs expand) you’re literally working against your diaphragm and destabilizing your core.
This is just one pattern of dysfunctional breathing — but I think it’s the most common for yogis.
In this week’s podcast episode, you’ll learn how to diagnose and correct dysfunctional breathing patterns like:
💨 Upper-chest or shallow breathing
💨 Mouth breathing
💨 Holding your breath under stress
💨 Reverse (inverted) breathing — the sneakiest one of all!
